Sara Hamilton created Family Office Exchange in 1989 to serve the unique needs of multi-generational families who held significant liquidity outside their operating businesses.

In 1993, Sara helped launch FOX Venture Partners, the precursor to FLAG Venture Partners, to pool purchasing power for private investors who had lost access to venture capital investment opportunities due to the growing influence of institutional buyers. Her interest in the Deal Exchange Network is sparked by seeing a similar market need for using pooled purchasing power to develop an efficient marketplace for accessing direct investments and unique private business opportunities.

Among Sara’s other achievements are the following:

Sara graduated with a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and holds an MBA from the University of North Florida.
